I think Pyramiding has some purposes, but overall I think people don't really know what they're doing. You should not be pyramiding steroids. You should just keep them consistent.

I don't think pyramiding and tapering is worth it. I think you should just run them out of gear you want. If you need to adjust things that's something different.
