Notes:

My weight came in at 212.1 lbs this morning. Today was a rest day since I wasn’t able to make it to the gym after work. Family started coming into town, and we ended up going out to Outback for dinner. I rarely get to see this side of my family, so it was an easy yes. I stayed on plan by swapping my final meal for a filet and baked potato, and I still made sure to get in my nighttime beef protein isolate shake.

After work, I also made time to prep more flank steak, salmon, and potatoes. Tomorrow I’ll cook the chicken, which is currently marinating in the fridge, before heading to the gym to smash some shoulders.

Notes:

My weight came in at 212.3 lbs this morning. Today’s session was shoulders, and I had a really solid workout with a great pump throughout. I’ve noticed my shoulders are getting pumped after just the first set of each exercise, which is a good sign that things are progressing. Strength continues to steadily increase week after week, even when the scale stays about the same.


Before heading to the gym, I was able to cook the marinated chicken and prep some rice, so meals are set. Tomorrow I’ll be taking a rest day to spend time with family, and I’ll be back in the gym on Christmas Day to train back, thankfully my gym is open 24/7. 💪🎄

My weight came in at 211.2 lbs this morning. Today’s session was hamstrings and arms, and I was definitely feeling the soreness from yesterday’s quad workout. Hitting hamstrings on already fatigued legs made the session challenging, but with a warrior mentality, you push through. Despite the fatigue, my arms had an insane pump today, which I’m crediting to the increased food intake lately.

My weight came in at 211.1 lbs this morning. Today’s session was chest, starting with the Hammer Strength incline press. Strength has remained steady over the past eight weeks during this mini-bulk, which has been exactly the goal.


I’ll be wrapping up this calorie surplus within the next week or so and transitioning back to maintenance calories, along with dropping my test dose back down to 400 mg to cruise. I plan to schedule labs in about two weeks to make sure everything looks solid before officially starting contest prep. Right now, I’m targeting the Cydney Gillon Peach Classic in May. After that show, I’ll reassess based on judges’ feedback and determine my next move.
